Teilo Wessells is a fine art photographer and recent graduate of the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. He received the Imre J. Molnar Artistic Achievement Award in acknowledgment of his thesis portfolio and publication, both entitled Pulse. Wessells employs compressed, design focused compositions to explore the ephemeral characteristics of organic and inorganic structures, which are always in flux. He has also been experimenting with his own unique processes and techniques toward fashion portraiture, combining his interests in fine art and commercial photography. Wessells is continuing to sharpen his skills by assisting photographers like Jenny Risher and exhibiting his work locally and internationally.
